This is the complete Anime Squadron units list, everything the community has verified, gathered in one place: in-game names, parody origins, rarities, roles, tier placements, and, most importantly, how to obtain each unit. Most units in the game are deliberate parody spellings of iconic anime characters. This database uses the official in-game English names throughout, with the parody source noted in parentheses so you can match what you see in the guide with what you see in the game. Anime Squadron launched on June 13, 2026, and the unit roster is still evolving; every entry in the table below is tagged with a confidence rating.
Rarity Tiers
Units in Anime Squadron are sorted into six rarity tiers, from lowest to highest: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and Secret. Secret is the ultimate rarity in the game, all currently confirmed Secret units are standout powerhouses in their respective paths, including Woo (Shadow), Madora (Gunbai), and Shanron (Omega). Keep in mind that a higher rarity does not always mean stronger: evolution-exclusive Gometa (SSJ4) does not belong to any standard Banner rarity, yet it is universally recognized as the #1 unit. The six-tier structure itself is multi-source confirmed, but the official team has not publicly assigned a rarity to every unit, only Karashi (Mythic) and the three Secrets have been explicitly named; remaining rarities are largely community inference.
- Common: Entry-level filler, used to fill slots in the early game.
- Rare: Marginally stronger than Common; still a transitional tier.
- Epic: The typical tier for mid-range units.
- Legendary: A meaningful rarity step-up; viable carries start appearing here.
- Mythic: High-value tier. The only officially named Mythic to date is Karashi (Sharingan).
- Secret: The ultimate rarity, home to the game's signature powerhouses. Most are unlocked through story content, Raids, Squadron progression, or an extremely high Banner pity. See game modes for details.
Complete Units Database
The table below covers every named unit the community has identified so far. The in-game names are deliberate parody spellings (e.g. Gometa), and the Parody column notes the anime character they reference (e.g. Gogeta, Goku × Vegeta fusion). Rarity is only listed for confirmed units; others are marked 'Not disclosed.' Entries where the parody origin or rarity is uncertain are flagged as reported and explained in the Notes column. Tier ratings reflect community consensus from mid-June 2026 and will shift with future updates, see the full [tier list](/tier-list) for rankings.
| Unit | Parody of | Rarity | Role | 档位 | How to Obtain |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gometa(SSJ4) 已确认 Universally regarded as the #1 unit, self-stacking buffs and surprisingly tanky in the late game. Cannot be pulled from any Banner; obtained only by evolving Goki. | Gogeta (Goku × Vegeta fusion) Dragon Ball | Top-tier · Evolution-exclusive | All-around carry DPS | SS | Evolution only (not from Banner) |
| Woo(Shadow) 已确认 The second-strongest DPS. The Shadow Soldier mechanic scales extremely well in Infinite mode, the longer the run, the harder it hits. Pity count is enormous; start saving Gems early. | Sung Jin-Woo Solo Leveling | Secret | High-burst DPS | SS | Banner (estimated ~20,000-pull pity) |
| Madora(Gunbai) 已确认 Burn stacks plus meteor hits make this the strongest free Secret unit and the easiest top-tier pick to grab early on. | Madara Uchiha Naruto | Secret | Boss killer / sustained damage | SS | Ninja Village Squadron Act 4 |
| Shanron(Omega) 已确认 The most versatile unit in the game, but leveling and evolving it is extremely resource-intensive, not recommended as an early priority. | Omega Shenron Dragon Ball GT | Secret | All-rounder (DPS / Tank / Support) | SS | GT City Raid Act 4 |
| Goki(SSJ4 Full Power) 社区共识 Viable on its own, but its primary value is as the core material for crafting Gometa. Official rarity not disclosed. | Goku Dragon Ball | Not disclosed | DPS / Evolution material | S | Banner (Gometa evolution material) |

| Shinks 社区共识 Best support unit in the game: damage-reduction aura plus evasion buffs make it a staple in most core lineups. Rarity not disclosed. | Shanks One Piece | Not disclosed | Support | S | Banner |
| Fastwagon 社区共识 The only dedicated economy unit in the game, nearly mandatory in every lineup. Prioritize maxing it early. Parody origin does not match any known anime character. | Unknown (community unverified) Unknown | Not disclosed | Economy / gold generation | S | Banner |
| Shield Hero 已确认 Holds the front line via damage redirection, best tank in the game outside of the hardest endgame content. Comes from the Battle Pass, not the Banner. | Naofumi Iwatani (Shield Hero) The Rising of the Shield Hero | Not disclosed | Tank | A | Battle Pass |
| Rudaus 单源存疑 Cooldown-reduction aura; relatively niche. Parody origin comes from a single source, treat with caution. | Rudeus Greyrat Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation | Not disclosed | Support (cooldown reduction) | A | Banner |
| Rizzuto(Sage) 单源存疑 Consistent mid-game damage dealer, but tier placement varies between S and B across different tier lists. Parody origin unconfirmed. | Naruto (Sage Mode) / Jiraiya? Naruto | Not disclosed | Mid-game DPS | S~B | Banner |

| Puppeteer(Transcendent) 单源存疑 One of the newest units, described as a 'weaker Gometa.' Placement sits on the SS/S boundary. Parody origin is pure speculation, do not treat it as confirmed. | Aizen? | Mamosa 单源存疑 Early-game healer that falls behind as enemy damage scales up. Parody origin is community speculation. | Mimosa? (disputed) Black Clover? | Not disclosed | Healer | B | Banner |

About Parody Naming
Nearly every unit in Anime Squadron uses a deliberate parody name, a slightly altered spelling of a well-known anime character, allowing the developers to sidestep copyright. This means the same unit can appear under two different names across different guides: the in-game name (Gometa, Goki, Vegata, Shinks, Madora, Shanron, Karashi) versus the restored original (Gogeta, Goku, Vegeta, Shanks, Madara, Shenron, Kakashi). They refer to the exact same unit, don't mistake mismatched names for two different characters.
A few quick examples: Gometa = Gogeta (Goku × Vegeta fusion); Woo (Shadow) = Sung Jin-Woo from Solo Leveling; Madora = Madara Uchiha from Naruto; Shinks = Shanks from One Piece. This site always uses the official in-game English name, with the parody origin noted in parentheses, so you can cross-reference guides and the game without confusion. A reminder: units like Puppeteer, Rizzuto, and Mamosa still have unverified parody origins, they are community speculation with no official confirmation, and are flagged as such on this page.
How to Obtain Units
Units come from two broad sources: spending Gems on the Banner, or unlocking through game progression. Most units for new players come from the Banner, but several of the game's strongest units are not in any Banner at all, they require story completion, Raids, Squadron progression, or Battle Pass grind. Understanding which channel each unit comes from will save you a lot of wasted resources.
- Basic Banner: Available from the start. The featured unit rotates every hour. Your primary destination for spending Gems.
- Selection Banner: Unlocked at account level 10. Lets you lock in a specific Mythic unit for targeted pulls; the target can be swapped every 24 hours. The most efficient way to chase a specific unit.
- Progression unlocks (non-Banner): Madora comes from Ninja Village Squadron Act 4; Shanron from GT City Raid Act 4; Puppeteer from the Katakara Bridge challenge; Shield Hero from the Battle Pass; and Gometa is obtained purely through evolution. None of these can be pulled from a Banner, see game modes for full details.
- Pity system: Secret units on the Banner are extremely rare, Woo (Shadow) is rumored to have a pity of around 20,000 pulls. Pull rate figures vary and conflict across sources; always check the in-game Banner screen for the actual rates. See mechanics for more detail.
Evolution Overview
Evolution is the core system for pushing a unit to the next level, built around three main pillars: Full Power evolved forms, the Fusion Quest questline, and Primal Cores as key materials, all requiring a significant amount of Gold. The flagship example is Gometa (SSJ4): first evolve Goki to SSJ4 Full Power, then complete the Primal Fusion Quest and collect the required Primal Cores before the fusion becomes available. Materials drop primarily from story content and Raids. One critical order-of-operations reminder, reroll your Traits before evolving: community feedback indicates that evolution can affect pity and Trait progress, so doing it in the wrong order wastes Trait Shards. Full evolution, fusion, and Primal Core farming routes are covered in mechanics.
